Ingela Bäckström är professor i kvalitetsteknik vid Mittuniversitetet. Hon undervisar på magisterprogrammet i kvalitets- och ledarskapsutveckling och handleder doktorander. Hon har publicerat ett stort antal vetenskapliga artiklar och några bokkapitel. Innan hennes akademiska karriär arbetade hon som revisor på en revisionsbyrå och som ekonom, teamledare och projektledare på Ericsson. Ingela Bäckström is professor of quality technology and management at Mid Sweden University. Her research interests concern how leaders and organizations may seek to create satisfied customers, wellbeing, and prosperous employees and organizations. Her research focuses on the relationship between quality management and sustainable health. She teaches at the master’s program Quality and Leadership Development and supervises PhD students, four of whom have defended their theses. She has published a large number of scientific papers and some book chapters. Before her academic career, she worked at an accounting firm as an auditor and later at Ericsson as an accountant, team leader, and project manager.
